Twenty minutes from the airport

Our office sits on Poruthota Road in Ettukala, the quiet end of Negombo beach. If your flight lands late, this is also where most of our guests spend their first night before heading inland the next morning.

  • From CMB Airport — 25 minutes by road (approx. 12 km)
  • From Colombo Fort — 1 hour 10 minutes via the E03 expressway
  • Nearest landmark — Ettukala Church, 300 m south

Questions before you book

For December to March, two to three months is sensible — the good hotels in Ella and Mirissa fill early. Outside peak season, three to four weeks is usually plenty. We have also put together trips in 48 hours when someone found a last-minute flight.
Couples usually get an air-conditioned car or a Toyota KDH van; families and small groups get a high-roof van with proper luggage space. All vehicles are under six years old, insured for tourists, and cleaned daily.
Yes. Plenty of guests prefer to book their own accommodation and hire us just for the vehicle and guide. Tell us in the form and we'll quote transport only.
Generally yes, and travelling with a private guide removes most of the friction. We work with several female guides and can arrange one on request. Our team is on call by phone throughout your trip.
Cancel more than 30 days before arrival and the deposit is refunded in full, less any non-refundable hotel charges. Inside 30 days we will always try to move your dates rather than keep your money.
Sri Lankan rupees for daily spending. Euros, pounds and US dollars exchange easily at the airport and in Negombo. Cards work in hotels and city restaurants, but carry cash for village stops, tuk-tuks and entrance tickets.
